INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEM THERAPY
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of distinct "parts", each with its own thoughts, feelings, and roles. These parts often form as a response to life experiences, with some protecting the individual from pain and others carrying unresolved wounds. At the center of this system is the "Self" , a calm, compassionate core that can lead the internal system toward balance and healing. Through IFS, individuals build awareness of their parts, foster understanding and acceptance, and help these parts release burdens, leading to greater harmony and emotional well-being. |
